About this tool
Measure the wall-clock duration between a start and end time, then subtract a break if needed. You can place the end time on the following day; timezone and daylight-saving changes are not part of this clock-only calculation.

Questions, answered
Does an earlier end time automatically mean tomorrow?
No. Enable “End time is on the following day” explicitly. This avoids silently changing the meaning of an incorrectly entered time.
What are decimal hours?
Decimal hours express minutes as fractions of an hour. Two hours and thirty minutes are 2.5 hours, not 2.30 hours.
