Pakistan salary tax calculator 2026–27
Estimate Pakistan salary income tax for tax year 2027 with all eight marginal bands and a clear breakdown.
Tax & zakatEstimate 2.5% Zakat on eligible net assets using your own nisab threshold and lunar-year confirmation.
Enter a verified, positive nisab in your currency. No live gold or silver prices are provided. Confirm your lunar-year (hawl) eligibility before treating the estimate as due; otherwise the result is conditional. Nisab standards, assets and deductible liabilities vary by scholarly guidance.
Adjust the example inputs, then select Estimate Zakat.
Add the current values of your zakatable assets, subtract liabilities you have confirmed are deductible, and compare the net amount with your chosen nisab. If net assets meet or exceed that threshold, the estimate is 2.5% of the entire net amount, not just the excess over nisab. Enter every value in one currency. This calculator does not supply metal prices or determine religious eligibility.
Enter the values of eligible cash, precious metals, investments, trade assets and recoverable receivables in one currency.
Enter only deductible liabilities and a positive nisab threshold verified for your calculation date and chosen guidance.
Confirm the lunar-year condition if it applies, then review the net assets, threshold comparison and estimate.
Use a verified threshold for your date, currency and scholarly guidance. Islamic Relief uses the value of 87.48 g of gold or 612.36 g of silver. National Zakat Foundation also notes the alternative 85 g / 595 g convention. Gold and silver choices can give different thresholds. This tool intentionally leaves nisab blank and fetches no prices. You can calculate your chosen threshold from the relevant weight and a verified per-gram price, or enter an independently verified value.
The estimate covers eligible monetary wealth at 2.5% for a lunar year. Enter only zakatable values, avoiding double-counting. Personal-use homes and possessions are usually excluded; shares, pensions, jewelry and business assets can need specific treatment. Islamic Relief lists short-term amounts due and some upcoming installments as possible deductions, not the full balance of every long-term debt. Confirm liability treatment and hawl with guidance you follow. The checkbox records your confirmation; the tool cannot assess it. Agriculture, livestock and other special-rate categories are outside scope.
You can explore a conditional estimate, but the tool does not decide when zakat is due. Confirm hawl and any exceptions under the guidance you follow before treating the estimate as an obligation.
Choose your calculation date and one currency. List eligible cash, precious metals, investments, trade assets and recoverable receivables without counting the same asset twice. Use values appropriate to your chosen guidance. Check which liabilities may be deducted before entering them; subtracting every outstanding long-term debt can produce an unsuitable estimate.
If eligible assets total 1,200,000 and deductible liabilities are 100,000, net assets are 1,100,000. With a verified nisab of 150,000 and the required lunar-year condition satisfied, this tool estimates 1,100,000 × 2.5% = 27,500. It does not calculate 2.5% only on the excess above nisab. The currency is whichever single currency you used for every entry.
Gold and silver thresholds, asset eligibility, valuation and deductible liabilities can differ under scholarly guidance. Nisab prices also change. The calculator does not fetch prices, select a standard, confirm your hawl or determine who can receive zakat. Keep a dated record and consult a qualified adviser for treatment that depends on your circumstances.
